I would probably break that car up into sections and split it up over a 3 or 4 day period. And longer than that if he is going to use Mike Phillip's method mentioned by Accumulator.
 
I will when I start the car this weekend. If no clear I found this great article on how to polish the car but not use abrasive polishes because abrasive polishes with just tear right through this fragile paint.



Everyone should read this article this article is amazing and described every detail to bring back single stage paint. Key is Megs #7 which has been around since the first automobile.

toymachine2009- Yeah, that's (a version of) the article we were referring to. Very good info, and I can say from experience that Mike's approach works.
