Old AquaWax?

When was AquaWax released to market? My research suggests it was about one year ago but the label on bottle I purchased yesterday has a copyright date of 2004.



I purchased it strictly for use on my windshield but am having some streaking issues. I suspect it's because the windshield is warm but am wondering if the products age (if it's really 3 years old) is a factor.

i wouldn't worry about the copyright year, that probably doesn't have anything to do with when the product was made. i just looked at my bottle and it's the same way, and i was at carquest when they first broke them out of the boxes so i know they're not old...
 
Usually that has nothing to do with the product inside, just more of what is on outside the container as in the label.
 
That's kind of what I was assuming but I thought I'd better check. I am assuming that this is an old bottle though as it has a "New" sticker on the sprayhead.
 
if it is streaking on the glass you may have used to much...1 spray will easly do a windshield....and if it real hot it may streak also...AW has been out 2 years that I know of....

A few days ago I picked up a bottle from my local Carquest and mine has a red "Shake Well" sticker on top of the spray head.



I guess you could always wait until the sun goes down and apply it on your windshield again to see if you get the same streaking issues? That way you'll know if it's the product or the heat that's causing the streaking. I would also try it on another windshield just to see if it's not reacting with something already on your windshield.
 
I am down the beach and went to a local Parts Plus. I have found Duragloss Nirvana !!!!!!!:waxing: :waxing:



They had everything. 901, AW, 101, 111, Bug and Tar Remover, Metal Polish :)



Needless to say it wasn't on sale like Carquest but I did pick up some 901 and AW :)
 
Yeah, in regards to that AQ "shake well" sticker. I bought two of 'em since it's on sale and decided to take off the top to smell it. Don't ask me why. Anyways, it smelled great but when I shook it, the stuff just went everywhere. I think I might have "broken the seal" on it or something.
