comes the questions. Can I use a PC on painted plastic? I have some white stuff on my bumpers and I'm wondering if I can use this tool to try to remove whatever this stuff is.

As long as it is paint you are working with then you can use a PC on anything. I've used it on painted plastic before without a problem. The only probelm I have using it on plastics is if it is pourous. If not then you are fine.

I doubt that I could hurt you. I'm no where near the size of the muscular mammoth known as The Whaler!

Rabbi - I ahve used the PC on the black plastic trim on some GM vehicles that tends to turn a crazy looking or dull black. For instance the rear plastic surrounds (on the sides) near the back glass of a Blazer, or the side mirrors of an S-10 (or blazer) with very nice results. A little non-abrasive polish brought those things abck from the dead. Do keep in mind that those were not porous.
