Okay, now I'm scared!

I was all excited to do my first machine polish to remove swirls and marring, and recently bought a PC. Well today I plug it in just to see it go. That thing moved faster than I thought. Then I realized that it was on speed '1'. Turned it up to '5' and *gulp* do I really want to put this on my paint - that is FAST!

How did everyone get over their initial concerns, or is everyone just braver than me?

PS I am going to use Menzerna IP and FP and FMJ with orange and white pads (hand for the FMJ) on a black Subaru.

Just gotta do it. I know how ya feel though...Just ease into it and before you know it, you'll be looking for extra work to use it on. The PC really is foolproof.

Good luck with the Menzerna twins, they are favorites of mine!

Just attach a white foam pad, hold the PC in your right hand, set it at #1, turn it on and press the pad against your left hand while it's running.

Adjust the speed through all the settings, all the way to 6. Keep pressing it against your hand as you try different speeds.

I know it sounds somewhat daunting, but you'll see/feel there's little to worry about.
