OK to use a DA to apply wax on PPF or STAY AWAY?

Can I use a DA (Rupes LHR-Mini) at a low or lowest setting to ONLY apply wax?

I assume not, but wanted to double check. thanks

It will be a synthetic for sure. I`ve heard that the PPF like synthetic vs nuba so thats how I`ll roll. I`m using the ever popular FK1000p applied by hand. Now that I think of it, I would need to apply the FK1000p by hand regardless. Not sure what the "go to" liquid synthetic is right now.....
I do like the result I`m getting using the FK1000p, put a second coat on today (and the bumper). Turned out great, beading and shining like crazy.

Glad you`re liking it (at least so far).

You already know where I stand on the hand/DA application when it comes to that product ;) But whatever works for *you* oughta be fine. Using the machine shouldn`t cause issues IMO since the whole hood was PPFed, it`s when you have edges to deal with that I`d think twice.

Shouldn`t be an issue other than the possibility of getting product caught in the edges. I suggesting going with a product like Opti-Seal that clear and doesn`t run the risk of unsightly residue on the seams, but carefully applied you should be fine.

And remember to move the applicator "off the PPF". Like...applicator in the middle of the PPF, move toward edge and off onto next panel/bare paint. Try to do everything you can to avoid bumping into the raised edge(s), even when just buffing off.
