Well, I am not against cell phones and driving.
BUT:
(a) One of the more interesting times I was almost hit was this stupid lady in a Navigator... four lane road (plus turning lane), she cuts across two lanes from the other side of the road to get going the right direction, across the turning lane, and, in LIGHT TRAFFIC, nearly manages to ram into me amongst all the empty space around. And then gives ME a dirty look. Those are the people that make me consider anger management classes
(b) I have had one fender bender since I started driving in August '01 (I'm 18 now)... I was in Best Buy's parking lot (notorious for being so damned tight), and I was backing out. The guy next to me was backing out, too. I stopped, he stopped to let me go, so I did. Someone calls me on my cell, and dumbass me, I pick it up. She wants me to get some pasta sauce, and in true dumbass fashion, I tap the back end of a car in a handicapped spot behind me that happened to be sticking out quite far... thing is, I saw it there, but for God knows whatever reason, was thinking that my car was straight and I would back right next to it, not INTO it. There's a small dent and touched up paint scrapes there because of it and the cell.
I use my cell (no headset) occasionally while driving. Just be safe. If that entails a headset or NOT USING IT AT ALL, then do so.
