I'd question these 3 products, ONR is a spay/waterless wash. so I think the first 2 are duplicate products and really even the 3rd one. I have had good results with the Spray Shine from Majestic Solutions during the water crisis here in Durham! :)

and @ $65 for 5 gal it comes out to $13.00 a gallon not to bad, and you can dilute it 1:1 and make 5 gal into 10 and really then the cost drops to $7.5/gal.

;) i'm cheap and thrift

ONR is a great product though....how is the DP Gloss booster?

..[regarding the ].. Montana Original Boar’s Hair Car Wash Brush... I am mainly worried about the BHB..

Is that the AutoGeek one? With the long bristles?

If so, I have a pair and they're not my favorites. The long bristels deflect so easily that it's hard to get effective cleaning with them...they're often just too gentle if used correctly (don't press hard enough to bend the bristles over).

I generally prefer the shorter-bristle ones from Griot's. But OTOH I just ordered a pair of long-bristle ones from CMA...for some reason I think I might like 'em better than the AG ones but I don't really expect them to replace my Griot's BHBs.

Yeah, its' the Montana brush. I just wanted a good BHB b/c a brush takes so much less time and effort to clean with than a mitt.

So the Griots brush huh?

Brandon, if youre going to order some scg products, i wouldnt stop at the wheel cleaner. Road trip is awesome, and thier glass cleaner is the best i have used. IMO thier tire dressing can be passed up but I would recomend you order road trip grime destroyer. thier interior cleaner/protectant is nice too.

i would say it's worth it, i have the megs version and would rather have the EZ brush as it's longer. in fact, the next time i do an order with AG, i'm going to add one...

Souveran Spray looks allright, but the beading and longevity leave a lot to be desired. I won't buy it again. I've had mine for since it came out and still have ~1/3 of my bottle left.

I'd go for the Ulti-mit instead of the shmitt too. Holds more solutions, easier to get your hand in and out of. Grid design seems safer than waffle. I haven't used my shmitts since i got the ulti mit.

Brandon, the purple foamed wool pad is the best medium to medium+ compounding pad I've ever used. It has more cut to it than yellow LC foam, but finishes down much better.

Uhhh Huhh.. I agree, with the Road Trip GD and the glass cleaner you cant go wrong!!!

I need to check out this road trip stuff :)

@superbee - do you like the foamed wool better than the yellow lc pad for correction? I have been looking at those....do they last a while, how do you clean them? sorry for the noob question...

Now I need to place an order...haha thanks ;)

By far the best pad I've ever used.

Really? i was about to order a Yellow lake country CCS pad for my cutting pad but if the Foamed Wool pad is better i guess ill pick that up. hopefully i can use it for both my PC and rotary.

Late response, been out of town.

Yeah, overall I like the Griot's one better, but you gotta inspect/CD-test any BHB to make sure you don't get a bad one (adhesive residue on bristles, etc.). The shorter bristles on the Griot's make for more effective cleaing IME.

You might want to check out my BHB comparison thread in the Detailing Products forum.
