So my I've torn my jeep apart and currently laying dynamat. I think I'll this wrapped by the end of the week as I can only work on it at night. I have 6 bulk packs of dynamat, 2 mega packs, 10 rolls of dyna tape, and 4 rolls of dyna liner
It's gonna be the loudest 2012 jeep in the country and when the radio's off the quietest
Here's the set up I'm going with

2 15' DD Audio: Mobile Audio | Woofers | 9500 Series | DD Audio
2 DD Audio: Mobile Audio | Amplifiers | M4a | DD Audio one for each woofer, 10k watts gonna own
4 DDAW6.5 | DD Audio custom fiber glassed panels going in various places to house along with custom baffles fiber glassed in the doors
4 sets DDT2 | DD Audio
2 DD Audio: Mobile Audio | Amplifiers | S4b | DD Audio to power the mids and highs
4 Kenetic HC2400's
2 350 amp alternators
12.8cu Box using a Horn port it should easily play between 28-80htz so it'll actually musical not just spl but I making where I can change the port tuning for daily and burping. So when it's on daily because of the massive impedence rise from using a horn port I'll only be gettin about 1500-2k rms per sub. I'm excited!

BTW if you have want to take the inner door panel off one of these you have to pull the glass PITA the doors were by far the worste part of the tear down
 
wow. teardown indeed. my audio days ended with my ZR2 truck. had major $$$ in that ride. enjoyed it tho. :) interesting to see the end result.....

lol even though it's a new car you'd be shocked how dirty it is under everything, I went to town on all of it while I was ripping it all out! Im gonna clean the carpets and scotch gaurd them while their out of the car too!
 
ok joe, you might as well order a complete set of replacement window seals ahead of time. this is what anyone outside your new ride will look like before the sound system check begins-

Man that is going to be awesome are you competing with that. 28 hz tones will tear that jeep apart. Yea sadly my audio days are over too. I have a JL 12w7 sitting in my living room in a 3.2 cu ft slot ported box. It makes a good piece of art..

I don't think i'll compete because there are really no SPL competitions in cali, everyone here does SQ one's and even though it's gonna sound really good, Just way to much power to even think of entering an sq comp lol
 
All the sound deading is pretty much done! 2 layers of dynamat Xtreme on every all the metal topped with dynaliner! I'm going to start putting back together tonight!

Should be a dialed by end of next week! Yay I'm getting really annoyed having my girlfriend drive me around or borrowing her car, not that it's a bad car but I feel a little bit like a girl driving around in a corrola S with powdered pink rims and accents really should of thought that through incase I ever needed to borrow it lol
