Oh the horror!!

Peeked out the window to see a neighbor across the street detail his car. Mind you this guy is a friend of my neighbor. I really dont know these people other than the casual "Hello". To my horror I see this guy going over his entire car with get this......"Windex"!!!!!! I'm dead serious he did the paint with this stuff.

I've seen people at car shows cleaning their entire exterior with windex and at a very dusty show guys were cleaning the dirt/dust off using t-shirts.
 
Until I saw it for my own eye's, I would never have imagined someone would do this. Now that he's stripped every last bit of wax off the car the Florida Sunshine, bugs and birds will destroy that clearcoat in a year. I can understand someone not being anal about their car but thats so blatently foolish....You'd think people would know better. He obviously is interested in making his car look decent. Why not a QD product instead of Windex??? Same work yet less stripping and more protection in addition to the lubrication benefits.

Is it possible that he likes that spray bottle and has a QD or something other than Windex in there?

Although it almost looks like a ripped T-shirt over his shoulder so maybe he is that foolish!

LOL . . . my condo is adjacent to the community car wash. You wouldnâ€â„¢t believe the things I see. Laundry detergent and kerosene is the least of serious offenses. I saw one guy using Armor All on the entire car. Unfreakingbelievable!
