Oh no a new Armor All system...

Agh! The infamous Kit! The scratch remover in the yellow bottle was one of my very first car care products and knowing A LOT less than I do now, even then it clearly sucked for me. It was the first product I trashed right away :down

I just love the title topic that you put for this thread! lol

Armor All is and always has been a marketting blitz in the word of automotive care.

Although I see they have a "no shine" formula that I wouldn't mind testing out....

How does it contain carnauba if you put it on when the car is wet?

Well WAUD seem to do it with no complaints from the majority.

It may end up being a crap product, but dont stick the boots in before you try it - ironically its like "reverse hype". :xyxthumbs

WAUD makes me towels sad :(

Oh there's a rebate for this. I saw it in the advanced auto ad. you get $1.50 back. So i t comes out to be about $4.50 or something.

Which isn't bad if the wash isn't bad. Kind of hard to make a bad car wash.

Mine too. It all kinda stiff and hard like there is a major product build-up, but I havent even used half a bottle!

Lucky I have only screwed up one towel. Anyone have any washing ideas? I have tried a few including Woolite, Megs APC, oxi-clean, green dawn - its a tough bugger.

Silly new product...just stupid. I also love this one. Just....no.:down Just no matter what it is, I can't understand how you can apply a carnauba wax through a high powered hose.....someone want to explain:nixweiss

WAUD does not contain carnauba, according to EO anyway......

You have to consider that the WAUD is a $3.50 product. How much carnauba per volume can a product like that contain?

And this...product. I just don't get it. It is scaing me the more I think about it.

edit: My friend said she saw it at advanced and started laughing because the wax looks like dish washing machine detergent.

Well I think we can all agree, its not Autopian favored, but rest assured, theres plenty of DIY'ers out there who will fall for the marketing.....

Note on the bottom of the page for the Armor-All kit it says waxed finish "appearence". Sure appearence matters but actually have protection on your car helps a tad and I'm sure that isn't the best one you can find at the local wal-mart, autozone, target, etc.

Unfortunately this is the reason why most people wax their cars.

They think it only serves for appearences :(
