What is yall's most hated step of detailing?

Mine is door jams... something about it just gets me not wanting to do them every time i wash MY car.

I have a few. Trim under the windshield, wheel wells, and the painted areas under the hood of any white vehicle.

My favorite part is picking up the checkand having the customer tell me that the vehicle looks better than when they bought it new!

For some reason........washing. If I didn't have to wash the car first, I'd be out there everyday trying some new polish or LSP.

interior windows...especially rear windows in 2dr coupes.

:werd:

I would also add that front windshields which are very sloped are pretty awful as well.

On my personal car, the only things that gets to me are the ones that don't look as good as I want when finished.

I don't mind spending the time cleaning/polishing/whatever, if it looks good when done.

An example would be plastic or rubber trim. I had a Mini Cooper that had the black plastic along the bottom all the way around. I never could get it to look the way I wanted. It was either too shiny...too streaky...or something.

Windows! Just when you think they are clean. you pull the car into the sun and...

ARRRGH! :hairpull :wall :hairpull :wall :hairpull :wall Streaks!

Glass glass glass glass!!!!!!!! I would rather clean ANY part of the vehicle except the interior glass!!!!!

I clean once with a new cobra mf towel then switch to a new towel and clean again and this has seemed to eliminate streaking issues, but its still a major PITA!!!!!

I dont mind windows... but I have little tolerance for ash-laden interiors from smoking

My nose & throat burn like crazy, and I tend to gag... it's too much for me :o
