Odd Question: How loud is a PC?

Player Appreciate!
I know it's a weird question... but what kind of noise level does a PC give off when in operation?

My ears are pretty sensitive to sound... even a moderate amount of noise will cause them to ring. So that is why I am trying to to find out what kind of noise a PC generates before I drop the cash on one.

Your insight is appreciated. :bow

WEll IMHO the pc isnt that loud at all. IF it is too loud for you when you get it then you can just get some ear plugs?

If your ears start ring at moderate dB's, perhaps you should invest in some Pelnor ear defenders. I have a pair for running a chipper shreader and they work great. Even better was to get rid of the trees that grew so much that I needed a chipper shreader and then deep-six the shreader. I believe they are between 20-30 dollars and are far more protective than earplugs....they are like large, oldfashioned headphones. Then you can buy a PC without worry and have proper ear protection for any power tool that you use if your ears are that sensitive. I think you would have to query Porter-Cable as to the average dB's put out by the machine and see if they have the data.

Thanks for the input. Will contact PC and see if they can shoot me back some noise info.

I was watching the Meguiar's video... the PC sorted sounded like an electric drill... am I right here?

I dont think it gets as loud as an electric drill. Full boar those things are pretty load and I dont think the PC is capable of that sound level.
