OCW / Z8 over carnuba?

For the winter I was planning on getting some Z2-pro and topping it with Collinite 476 (2-3 layers of Z and 2 layer of 476). I was wondering are products like Z8 and OCW OK to use over carnuba? I realize they arent QD's but protection enhancers. Also what would be a good QD for carnuba? Im not a big fan of the Meg's or Mother OTC products and I have Megs FI, its OK but doesnt seem to enhance the looks much.
 
I've used OCW over Max Wax without a problem. I would imagine that durability would be compromised, but I'm no chemist.
 
I would recommend that all carnubas and old waxes be removed prior to the application of Zaino products. The best way to do that is to wash with Dawn dishwashing soap. Then apply your products.
 
I actually planned to polish forst (not mentioned above), that would remove old waxes,etc. My question was directed more towards the spray waxes / QD's and compatibility.
 
Z8 wasn't designed to work with carnauba, Protect-all All Surface Care is a spray and wipe wax that works well over carnaubas
 
OCW won't be a problem, but if you wanna use Z8, you might as well not top Z2.

Just use Z8 after a wash and it'll go through the winter.



Collinite is good too, so I wouldn't bother putting Z8 over it.

A few layers and it'll last the winter too.



Up to you which you choose, but I just wouldn't put Z8 over Collinite.
 
Well I just oreder ZFX, Z2-pro and Z10 (LIB). Now to order some OCC, OCP and OCW a few new pads and some more MF towels!

I dont know how well it does in the cold, but DO NOT APPLY IT TO A HOT PANEL IN THE SUN!!!!! Ask me how I know. :D
