OCW pre-review

I put some on my glass and it sucked.....made for a streaks and the wipers did not perform well in the rain.

Had to pull over when I could and wash the window with some window cleaner. I dont know, but treating windows especially the front did not work well for me.

I haven't tried it on the windshield, but i put it on the other windows and it didn't spread as easily as i had hoped. No difference in appearance, and it didn't seem to make subsequent cleanings any easier. I prefer clearkote quikshine on glass.

On a positive note, I sprayed my bumpers with ocw and cleaning them was a lot easier on the next wash. I haven't gone a single wash without using ocw, so the most i can say at this point is that it lasts for at least 2 weeks until the next wash.

One more thing, in response to RIC's complaint about the instructions, I checked my gallon container and it says "shake well" in large bold letters running along the side, and it was also stated in the directions, right after it says to wash and dry the car. Maybe I got a different bottle from you, ric?

Anthony,

I am sorry I did not see your post requesting David's post over on the DC thread. I send you an email copy of it, I enjoy reading your contributions and seeing your details. Best wishes !!!

Hey LL,

Got the email and I do thank you for that :) and also your comments.

As for OCW on windshields, not sure what it is those experiencing problems might be but I have had great results with it on glass. It could be that you are using too much OCW. I also prefer to spray the towels first then apply.

Also I pretty much only use OCW AFTER I have washed a car and after it has been blow dried. A few water drops remain on the paint and glass and the OCW is a breeze to work with.

If you ar ehaving trouble with it try adjusting the amount used. Too little and you may have coverage issues, too much and oyu may have smearing issues.
