Will OCW bond over 1000p or should I go over it with PS 1st then start adding coats of OCW ??

Is OID worth getting and does it offer protection ? I've been using 425 as a QD or ONR mixed as a QD .

Thanks

Mike~

IME, waxes will bond to sealants better than sealants will bond to a base layer of wax. YMMV.

However, anytime you put a wax over a sealant, you can expect that the wax won't have nearly as good of durability as it would if it were applied to clean, bare paint.

Even though 1000p is not a sealant , but a synthetic wax. I'm not doubting you just trying to understand the bonding issue.

Me too, but not by a whole lot.

425 is easier to use (OID can streak if you don't remove quickly and completely) and seems to leave the surface slightly slicker.

OID is still a very good ID in its own right though, especially considering the price.
