OCC, OCP, or both for PC

Just wondering what you guys thought about OCC and OCP with the PC. I'm about to pick some up, but I've read that OCP takes way too long to break down with a PC. Your thoughts?

I had some issues with OCP and OCC at first but after getting past the "learning" curve i have to say i like it. OCP does take a bit to break down but if you take the time its worth it, leaves an amazing finish although i dont think OCC is aggressive enough for a compound. Anthony introduced me to a 2 to 1 mixture of OCP and OCC that seems to be working out really well though.

i cant wait to get my truck done now, ive been doing a panel a night after i get home from work and taking my time. Ill get pics up as soon as im done.

I agree with Hines on it taking a long time to break down, but it is worth it. I personally have only used the OCP, but it works great for me, it just takes a while.

I feel OCP works best with the orange pad to remove light to moderate swirl with a PC, for more serious defects OCC with a cutting pad on a PC should do the job, otherwise need to step up using a rotary. Tomorrow will be doing a car full of swirls and hologram, will try out the 2 to 1 mixture of OCP and OCC on a PC and see how's the result ; ) .

When I first got my OCP, I absoluetely hated it. I couldn't even remove minor swirls. So after comming on here for a few nights getting information on how to properly use it, I took another stab at my project with it and low and behold, all the defects were removed. OCP needs the user to use the correct amount of polish, the correct PC speed, and the correct PC movement speed. If one does this, OCP is an awesome polish.

OCC is the same way. The proper combination of usage factors will net you great results.
