Not sure on the "okayness" of a link to another site, but I'll try it this once to see if it flies.
Process:
- 2-bucket Method Wash with Meg's GC
- Clay with Megs Clay using Final Inspection as Lube
- ISA wipedown to remove oils or anything else stuck to the paint
- Meg's Paint Reconditioning cream AIO for the majority of the vehicle applied via Griot's DA and Meg's Yellow Cross-cut polishing pad (The new one).
- Meg's Diamond Cut 2.0 Compound applied with wool pad and Chicago Tools (I know, I know...just shoosh) rotary x3 on hood and trunklid, then gone over with DA and Meg's Paint Reconditioning Cream AIO.
- Meg's Endurance Tire Gel for shine
- Meg's Wheel Brightener aggitated with several brushes for the wheels
Just as a precursor, I do exterior only work for a local used car lot. He gives me an assignment and I have as long as it takes to get it done. I usually try NOT to go over 15 hours per vehicle, but some just need more work. This one in particular took me 13 hours to get to where it is now with the hood and the trunklid taking about 5-6 hours to correct down to where it sits now. I have a set price depending on the size of the vehicle, so sometimes have to cut a corner or two to make a profit as I use my own products, so please, your critique on my correction work would be of great value to me.
Please click the link below for the pictures. Feel free to check out my other cars posted there as well, though I will make separate posts for each if this type of posting is okay. Thanks for looking!!!
