If this is in the wrong place, I apologize in advance. Yesterday I decided to wash my car as it was dirty. It currently had AIO and SG x2. So I went and got some NXT wash, had used it earlier and liked it and not want to wait on TOL as I had to buy it online.
A few days ago I went to Walmart to buy Castrol Super Clean and so found the Walmart “foam gun I had seen discussed and decided to try it for under $6. When I got home I tried it with some RainX with Carnuba bead carwash I had(I don’t like it), and sprayed it on my floor haha. It was ok not what I had expected. So last night I decided to use the gun with the NXT wash. I have read almost every thread on foam guns and read about diluting. So I diluted the NXT wash my eye and got to washing the car. Before I sprayed the soap, I wet the car. Here is where the Klasse amazed me.
I washed as all the dirt and dust literally was washing off the car(car is silver). I have used prior to Klasse other products such as Zaino, Turtlewax and Meguairs. None have ever done this, so I liked this as it would reduce the chances of marring with all the dust and dirt. I used a rinse bucket and sprayed whole car with the foam gun. As I had read it did not make foam as instead it just served as a water/soap mixer. So with gun in one hand and wash mit in other I proceeded to wash. After washing I let the hose run on the car and almost all the water sheeted off, I just had to dry roof, trunk and hood in some spots. The sides were completely dry!
After washing I decided to use some NXT spray wax which I did not like as it requires too much work spray, spread and buff. I had read from a fellow forum member “wannafbody who sprayed with a different bottle. So I put it in a bottle with an adjustable sprayer and used it on the fine setting as a QD. It was night time so could not tell much, but just saw it right now and it looks real good!
I did this all on a silver 2003 Corolla S, and the Klasse twins had made the flake pop as I had never seen before and now the spray wax helped as well.
So to make a long story short NXT wax got 2 thumbs up, nice smell, lots of suds and cleans well(car was not overly dirty). I did like it over Meguiars deep crystal, Meguairs wash strips, RainX and Eagle One I used earlier(don’t remember name sorry).
As for foam gun, it might help with presoak for larger cars or to wash a clean car such as mine was (or might as well get QEW).
The NXT booster spray wax, well it is ok for quick touch ups. BUT needs too much work like spray, spread and buff, I rather just add some real wax instead. So now since I had it laying am using it as a QD to add some shine after a wash and worked well. I know it will not last long but oh well have to get rid of it
.
Klasse, one word. Awesome! So easy to apply and remove, I used it after SSR2.5 on my car and liked it. SG was kinda tricky but thin coats is key and the PC helped with that. I attempted to SSR and Klasse the G35. AIO went well, but SG was leaving streaks(the G is black) and so instead used the NXT liquid wax which looked better. Will try SG on the black Solara when I get a chance.
That’s all for now, sorry for long post! If you got any Qs feel free to ask
