NXT Viper

Wow! Thanks for all the nice comments.

The car is a 95 and it is a daily driver! I take it everywhere.

This car had the 3 spoke Viper wheels back in the day.

I got the 5 spoke off a 96, cheap. Had them powder coated semi gloss black.

I didn't details the wheels...

still learning to use the S400, sorry about the out of focus

Prep was #9, yellow pad. NXT.

NXT was much faster to get off cleanly then Zaino! ( Guys/ Girls I LOVED Zaino before this came out!)

Sweet car and even better shine, especially for yellow! I am still amazed Dodge had the cajones to put the Viper into production, V10 and all!

Yeah beautiful car, and the NXT looks real good, beyond my expectations. It took the yellow out, looks great.

Newport Viper,

Sweet, Sweet, Sweet! :bow

Ah yes the Viper! :xyxthumbs What a raw, poweful yet beautiful car! Your Viper in these pics looks super cool I must say. The NXT looks great here as a last step product. It almost has a Souveran look to it. Very, very wet!

Great job on your detail on a very cool car! :D

Cheers,

Thanks again!

It is warmer than Zaino. Less pop, but it is very, very, wet. Like you flowed on brand new clear coat!

I would think that yellow would be one of the hardest colors to get some depth? NXT really does it.

Will it work on Red too? So what is NXT?

NXT is short for NXT Tech Wax, a new synthetic paint protectant by Meguiar's. It is a part of a new line of products called NXT Generation.

It is just now coming out onto the market. It is for cars whose finish is in new or excellent condition, or have been previously prepped including removing bonded contaminants using a clay bar, followed by paint cleaning using a dedicated paint cleaner, and or cleaner/polish.

I have achieved my best results after first prepping the finish, (like any wax), only from my experience, it leaves a very clear, smooth, high gloss finish with an almost wet-look.

There will be a Viper Detail Day at Meguiar's on April 10th if your interested and in the area.
