NXT topped over Zaino?

No you're right, good point. Maybe I'll just do half the hood with Z and the other half with Z + NXT. Not planning on doing this until March or so when it gets a little warmer. Also bouncing around a few combos in my head with other products for other cars I plan to do.

Last time I applied Zaino to the entire car was Sept. It's held up really well through the winter and all I've been doing is washing it with Meg's GC or using QEW when it was super cold and then finishing with Meg's FI. I think the Z is almost gone if not all gone by now. :nixweiss The bead height is not what it was a few months ago. Maybe the FI has been helping it out. But who knows, don't want to start another "how do you know it's still there..."

If there is any oils in NXT, which from my very very limited experimentation of which, I would say there are, Zaino just isn't going to bond. It seems like just a silly step and while it may be worth it just for grins, its not a logical placement of the NXT wax.

Well, my thinking is that NXT definitely has some cleaning punch, inintentional or whathaveyou. Zaino really doesn't that much. So NXT over Zaino may be pointless in the sense that you just end up with NXT. While maybe Zaino will be less durable on a product like NXT, maybe it won't be. Who knows. It seems more likely that you'd get the effects of both products this way than if you put NXT on Zaino... :nixweiss
