NXT tech spray wax

Hi guys,

Washed my car this evening and used some NXT tech spray wax . I applied and buffed using a white 100% cotton towel and noticed some yellow patches on the towel after doing the bonnet.

Are the yellow patches the carnauba wax which I applied last week? Does NXT tech spray wax contain any cleaners?

Tks :)

NXT Tech Wax contain a very mild cleaner (NXT Spray Wax is a booster wax for use after the Tech Wax)

~Hope this helps~

Nope, my car's colour is sapphire black. Does NXT spray wax contain cleaners too? I hope it did not remove my layer of carnauba wax. :(

Are you using NXT Spray Wax as a quick detailer? It is a booster meant to go over NXT Tech Wax. I guess there is no reason you couldn't apply it over a carnauba but, I would think a traditional quick detailer or a carnauba based spray wax would be better. :nixweiss

Yep, using NXT spray wax as a QD.

I find that its harder to use and streaks more as compared to quik detailer.

Of course it is going to streak. It is NOT a quick detailer and was not designed to be. It is a booster wax. If you read the directions on the label you apply it just like a wax. It is not a spray and wipe product like a quick detailer. It has to be spread just like a wax, left to haze and then wiped off.

I've found the Spray Wax to be quicker to use than the tech protectant, though not a lot easier. It did add gloss back onto the surface of my 200SX, though the NXT applied before was still beading well but not as glossy. All in all it's not a bad product, but I kind of doubt I'd buy it when my bottle runs out. It's about as easy to just apply the actual NXT tech wax. :nixweiss

Also, yeah it will streak. You apply it, let it haze, then buff it off, just like applying a regular sealant. It isn't a QD.
