NXT question

if i used DACP or any type of swirl remover before i NXT should i wash the car like i would if i were going to zaino? also would a black finishing pad be best for applying NXT or would something else be better. also if i decide to NXT on a vehicle that already has zaino on it, do i have to strip the zaino first? thanks
