NXT over Mothers Glaze?

Has anyone tried applying Meguiar's NXT sealant over Mother's Sealant and Glaze? Any bonding/durability issues? Also, how'd it turn out?

Have done this a couple of times, once for my neighbour. :bigups

Mothers S&G is a great product to add depth & gloss to your finish & easier to use than Meg's #7 to boot...

NXT liquid wax was added on top the next day to add some more protection than just the glaze on it's own. It has very slight cleaners in it that help the product settle down to cure but not enough to remove S&G completely...

I think it's a decent combo but it may not last more than 6-8 weeks...

Before I get shot down in flames, I'm not saying it's the best method or combination to use, only that I have used it & it turned out ok for a short while. :chill:

If you have them handy, try it for yourself... cheers

But NXT having cleaning properties would remove some of it. My best guess would be to try a different wax...Maybe #26.

Okay, I've got one more. Anyone try topping Mother's Glaze with their FX SynWax (the liquid, not the spray)?
