hi guys, newb here - bear with me.

I have a 350z light metallic silver (oem liquid aluminum) that I purchased recently. I put a couple coats of NXT on and it looked great but didnt last. So searching and reading the forums, I next bought some collinite 885 fleetwax for durability.

Washed, clayed, 1x NTX, next day 1x885, next day 1x885

the 885 is amazing, beads like fresh rainx on my paint but I think I like the NXT look better- has more shine/gloss

my question is can I put NXT on top of the 885? will the solvents in the NXT liquid remove the 885? how about mixing the two together before applying? am I wacked?

anyone try this before?

IIRC the Fleetwax is the same as the 476S Super Doublecoat...I agree that the look isn't as good as some others. You should be able to put the NXT on top...the Collinite might be degraded somewhat by the slight NXT cleaners, but shouldn't be completely removed. Worth a try, anyway...worst case is you wind up with just NXT...but it's spring, anyway.
