NXT is like...

I think, it looks like Meguiar's Gold Class Wax with BOATLOADS more shine and reflection. It is a hard-shine look, like Zaino or Klasse, rather than a soft-shine look, like Souveran or #26. Since everyone is saying let it set for a day or so, I'll let it set for a day or so, and write some more tomorrow.

Oh, and it's as easy to use as a wax/sealant gets, like S100/Souveran easy. Wipe on, wait, wipe off. No pressure, no dust. Just gone.

Yeah, it seems a lot better than Gold Class. It is also smoother and slicker feeling than Gold Class. There was a time I thought Gold Class was awesome... That was a long time ago.... ;)

I look forward to your impressions and to seeing some shots (of the Miata, I presume?).

Uh, much better than Gold Class-maybe Gold Class on steroids?

Within a few hours, NXT gets a lot slicker, even like it did today using it in low 30 degree weather this morning and around 40 degrees this afternoon.

Yeah, GC on steroids, GC with bling. Everything that GC should have been. But it keeps the GC handsomeness. It's not ALL bling, there's beauty underneath it, too.

Tom, thanks for the info. Just for clarification, are you saying it's a WOO product?

I'm really curious because I just used P21S over the weekend and 'rediscovered' how easy this stuff is to use. Adding a layer of wax is nothing at all....in fact, it's so easy, I would rather re-wax every month with this product as opposed to re-waxing with a sealant every 4-5 months. Part of this user-friendliness is because of it's WOO nature.

When you say it's "S100/Souveran easy", did you mean it's very easy to remove...but still requires some dry time?

The best description I can put to it is Meguiars #20 shine and reflectivity with #26 wet glow. It does NOT darken my paint though like #26 which dissapointed me. No biggie though as I can always just top it with #26 if I decide to. Still getting to know the new look. More photos at the webshots link in my sig.

So, has anybody used Mother's Sealer and Glaze? How does NXT compare. The mother's stuff is also very easy on and off, and looks pretty good. What advantages would NXT have over it?

I have and use both S100 and P21S and can tell you that NXT is just as easy to apply and remove as either of them. The only drawback is the cure time if you want to layer or even QD it would seem.

rjstaaf, thanks for the info! :xyxthumbs

Dom, Mother's S&G is a good product and also very user-friendly, but it's not a product that can be compared with NXT since it's a glaze with limited durability.

S100 is WOO, NXT is WO, wait 20 minutes, WO. It comes off like S100, though, with no caking or streaking or powderiness, just WO.

I did the Miata yesterday, and a new yellow Z06 today. I'll post some pics soon.

Ooops, I meant Mother's Reflections, not sealer and glaze. I'm not thinking straight today.

Anyway, the reflections is supposed to have decent longevity, and its very easy on, wait, easy off. It's been available for some time. What advantages does NXT have over this?

Wait a sec... does "WOO" just stand for Wipe On & Off?

All this time, in reference to those Klasse posts, I thought "WOO" was a person and it was just another method, as opposed to say the "Bill North" method for example.

D'oh!! :D
