NXT and one gorgeous piece of Italian art

1 Clean WS6

Detailing Rottweiler
Hello all!!

I finally got a chance to use NXT on one of my favorite regular customer's rides...an '03 Maserati Cambiocorsa Coupe! I detail this vehicle once every month and usually use #9 as my prep followed by Gold Class wax (YES...some people actually use that stuff). The Maserati is his DAILY DRIVER and has just over 10K on the odometer now. It usually has some light swirls/spider webs every month as he ocassionally runs it through a "touchless" wash. This time out I used #82 as my prep applied with my PC and a Meg's 8006 pad. I followed this with NXT Tech Wax applied with my PC and a separate dedicated 8006 pad. Both were removed with Meg's MF towels. Instead of me giving a page long description of how AWESOME I think this new Meg's product is I'll just let the pics speak for themselves. :xyxthumbs

Enjoy,

Mike:cool:

I know NXT has taken a beating in some threads on this forum but hey...I'm a fan. I like the look of the product and it makes my clients smile which is all that really matters to me.:D

1 Clean WS6,

NICE & SWEET ! ! ! :bow :bow :bow

That car looks liquid and very reflective! :xyxthumbs Great work on a hot car!

What speed did you use on the PC for both the polishing step and the NXT application?

Keep up the great work!

Cheers,

THANK YOU all for the compliments!!

AMP01 application speed for the polish step using the #82 was "full boogey" (6) with moderate to heavy pressure on the PC. The NXT application speed was 3.5 - 4 with light to medium pressure.

1 Clean WS6,

Thanks for the quick reply! :xyxthumbs

For those of us who use a PC, it is nice to see how each other uses each type of product, with each kind of pad and at what speed!

Again, great work on that Maserati Cambiocorsa Coupe!

Cheers,

DAMN...in this pic you can almost see the individual details in the paving bricks and what looks like a phone number on the trailer.

Wow what a beautiful finish on that car, you really made it shine!

I love Maseratis, we have a neighbor that collects them, he has 5. None new but even the older ones are just gorgeous designs. Never flamboyant, just purposefully styled. IMO a very under-appreciated marque.
