how long should i wait before putting meguiars #16 over my NXT. i just dont want to put #16 on and think im smearing it in with the NXT i dunno

also another off topic question ive been thinking. does smaller beads of water from water beading mean better protection? also if a car doesnt bead water does that mean its not protected with some kind of wax or sealant?

thanks..... o btw heres a nice shot of a ruby red olds intrigue GLS i did the other day with DACP (man really had to get a lot of scratchs and grime off from the winter great stuff) followed by NXT.... very impressed, zaino may stay on the shelf for a while hehe

I would give it 24 hours before touching it, QD water, #16, nothing at all.

24 hours will ensure maximum "bonding" "curing" whatever you would like to call it.

IMO smaller beads does not neccessarily mean better protection.

If a car does not bead water it COULD mean that it is not protected, it could also mean that it is protected by something that is formulted to sheet rather than bead.

Opinions vary on the subject and these are just mine.

Probably nothing, it MIGHT effect durability. :nixweiss

If I was going to test the durability of a product I certainly would wait 24 hours.

NXt needs 24 hours for the full curing time, then i would recommend a second coat of nxt to ensure even distrubition by what i read on meg's forums

then wait 24 hours for that second coat to cure then if you still wanna apply a coat of #16 wait 24 hours after that coat of nxt.

have fun,

Jon
