Why? Because he is happy with it.

Why not? Some people are not that happy with it.

Solution: Let him use what he likes, you use what you like.

Arguing waxes is about as bad as arguing politics. You probably won't ever change anyones mind, just make them angry.

Remember, everyone is entitled to their own foolish opinions. :D

To each their owm. I'm sure using NuFinish is better than using nothing at all. Obviously some people like it a lot, because they have been around for a while. :)

There is no doubt that NuFinish is one heck of a high octane paint cleaner!

You get an oxidized hood and apply NuFinish with a terry applicator and that oxidation will be toast!

Maybe that's why it's called the "The Once A year Car Polish". For most dramatic before and afters just wait one year between waxes and let plenty of oxidation build up. :bigups

Here is their website: http://www.nufinish.com/

I suggested it as #2 after NXT for my brothers' car, and guess what he ended up with
Guess it is better than nithing at all...shrug

I have never gotten good results with NuFinish and in most cases it leads to problems down the road. Stick to a real sealant like Zaino and you will do much, much better.

It is regularly among the worst performers in Steve Litscher's tests (Guru Reports).

I strongly urge people to avoid this one.

Maybe it's you and not the product!!! ... tried that Zaino stuff and it wasn't any better than anything else and couldn't clean any paint ...Nu-Finish is a good paint cleaner like Dwayne said..if somebody likes it that is their biz

I remember using this when I had an 8 year old car, and it did nothing worthwhile. I was going to try it again, these 15 plus years later but think I'll just stick with my Turtle Wax Caranauba.:howdy

exactly. Its overpriced for what it is for one. Its a department or chain store wax that you can easily find on the shelf.

My two main complaints about that brand of wax are 1) it doesn't protect well and 2) it comes off very difficult with lots of wax dust . It doesn;t come off clean.

I used it long, long ago geeez i think it was on a 74ish Ford LTD Bronze/copper in color did not seem to bad back them.... but i didn't have the knowledge then that I have today. anything is better than nothing at all, I guess

The one thing i do know is it is NOT body shop safe..... if I remember correctly, after using Nu-Finish and there were to be repairs done at the body shop they would have to remove the paint down to the primer....I may be wrong so don't go flaming me over what I just said... it's the way I remember it.

regular NU FINISH is so so but my version is light years ahead .. my vega runs 8 sec quarter mile because of this amazing product ...

Nothing says quality more than this "Largest TV advertiser in the product category" tagline.:bow

Hey, it's got to be good then, right?

Has anyone had any real problems because of it? I hear a lot of people say they wouldn't let it come near there paint, but they don't say why. I still get people asking me to top their car with it because "it protects for 1 year" . I have no real evidence to tell them why I shouldn't use it.

This stuff is better.
