Novice detailer from South Carolina saying Hi!

PC + Patience = Reward!
This is a great community! I have been visiting here since last year, posting 3 posts, but never really introduced myself. My name is Rob and reside in Lexington, SC. I make neon signs during the day but enjoy detailing after work as well as on weekends. I have learned so much here as well as other detail-oriented sites! I have been taking detail work "seriously" since 2004, but have enjoyed cleaning cars forever it seems. After visiting here, I can truly say I now see the difference between cleaning a car and detailing one. Thanks so much to all here as well as the other sites!

Thanks for the welcome! I hope to post some work here soon for all to critique...As for USC games, I am a huge fan but do not get to go to many games. I am proud of what Spurrier has done with the team! Thanks again, and as always, I appreciate viewing and reading the work from all members here!

Hey hammondc! So how is the detailing scene in RH? About the only time I get there is passing through in route to Charlotte for the Nascar race...Thanks for the welcome Hawaiianelement...it is appreciated!

Howdy from Myrtle Beach!! I'm sort of trying to get a mobile business started on the side here in Myrtle Beach. Where are you located compared to Myrtle Beach? I sure hope it stays like this for a LONG time...60-70 degrees everyday is PERFECT. I moved here from VA and we had some harsh winters....can I expect that here? I sure hope not! A little snow and 30 degree days are tollerable, but if the windchill gets down to single digits and we get more than 6 inches of snow the whole winter, I didn't move far enough SOUTH

What's up BigDog?! Welcome to SC! Lexington is a 2.5 to 3 hour drive to MB. I don't get there much but when I do I like it...SC winters are very tame for the most part. Snow is a scarce thing here! I remember one year, maybe a couple of years ago but not sure, where MB got snow (like a foot!) and we got nothing! That was VERY rare...Usually if it does snow it will be around 4-6". Upstate gets a beating sometimes but not so much here and MB. Single digits are rare as well. It can get in the teens for a bit but not long. Again, welcome to SC and good luck with the detailing biz!
