November- BMW 330CI

Very impressive work, and a very thorough and diligent presentation. Have you tried SSSR2.5? I just ordered some and am curious as to how aggressive a polish it is. My most aggressive product at present is DACP.

Thanks,:xyxthumbs I know that pictures can be deceiving so I always try my best to keep the same light and angle when I'm showing any swirl/defect removal before and afters.

I haven't tried SSR2.5 yet, I've read that it is similar to DACP :nixweiss Maybe someone will chime in who has used both, I'd like to know too:)

I used both on the Neon. What I found is that DACP does pretty well as far as paint cleansing is concerned. SSR 2.5 seemed to actually lessen the swirls that DACP didn't touch.

Thanks for the replay, that's good to know :xyxthumbs

Looks like I'll have to be trying something new soon:D

I just still can't get over how bad the swirls were in the paint of this BMW, especially for it's age...CAN YOU SAY CAR WASH!

Damn! I hope you got paid big for all that work. I have an entry in this month too, but I might just have to vote for you! LOL!

Very well done, I would also like to know what a job like that costs, if you give a package price or if you charge by the hour when doing that type of job? I haven't had anything of that severity yet and would like to know how to price a customer on something like that.

I gave them a good deal because they were the parents of one of my regular clients and they wanted both of their cars done. For both the BMW and 90 Miata (heavily oxidized) I charged them $275.00 for both full details.
