Not pleased with 303 aerospace

I picked some up cuz I had heard great things about it and wanted to get rid of the ghetto armor all. well I used the 303 and it dried up the vinyl and now it looks whiter is different spots, looks kinda like it was bleached or something. :angry . I actually liked the armor all better. It may not have the best protection but it doesn't make it look damaged. Maybe I am applying it wrong? all i did was spray some on a microfiber and wiped it on the vinyl, then i wiped it again with a dry side.

I think different surfaces (i.e., different vinyl from different manufacturers) react differently to products. There doesn't seem to be a solve-all when it comes to vinyl protectants.

303 works well in my experience in early 90s hondas and new toyota/lexuses. It seems very similar to armor all, though I've only applied AA on tires and never in interiors (yet).

Looks like you'd be better off with AA, which isn't bad since it's cheaper and widely available.

Try putting the 303 over your AA, for the added UV protection of course. Just a thought...

Just a couple of thoughts

Did you clean the plastic before using 303 and how much did you use. I found the best results by using only a very thin layer.

303 will only work on a clean and non-dressed surface.

Anything under it will cause unpredictable results.

I had problems with streaks myself. Tried applying it to the pad first, but still no luck. I'm going back to Meg's stuff.
