Not bad -- Silver S2000

Hey all, finally a nice day here in Ohio, and I had to snap a few photos.

I bought a kit at Wal-Mart that came in a cooler package for $20, to get me started this year on some supplies. This wasn't the exact model as mine came with a gel wash and cleaner wax, and it came with a small microfiber towel, foam applicator and foam sponge.

So I spray the car down and wash it with the foam sponge and the gel wash. Then I went around and dried it with my microfiber towels, spraying QD on the harder to reach places. Sprayed the wheels down with some cleaner, washed it off, then put some elbow grease into them to make them really pop. Applied some #38 to the tires for a nice sheen, then smoothed some #6 over it. I haven't hit the interior or the engine bay yet but that is coming.

I noticed a lot of spots that need claying, so I'll do that when the weather is nice again. I also plan on putting some NXT on, and from what I hear #26 is awesome on top of that. Any suggestions? This is my first real car I'm interested in detailing.

Also, any suggestions on supplies I *need* to get but I don't have?

Here's what I do own:

Meg QD

Meg #6, #38

Meg Gel Car Wash

Wheel Cleaner (can't remember brand, too lazy to get up)

2 microfiber applicators

1 foam applicator

1 foam sponge

1 water bucket

6 medium-sized microfiber towels

GRIT GUARD! Another bucket, a waffle weave drying towel(or alot they are awesomee). a PC and some megs. #80 and some #21. yep. Some of this is IMO but definately the first 4 things.. oh get a shmitt or a microfiber wash mitt.

#21? I don't see that listed on the Acronym post. Do you mean P21S?

Good looking car! :)

I'd get a PC, pads and either Optimum or Menzerna polishes for it. NXT/#26 would be just fine over well prepped paint.

The poor Integra needs a brand new paint job and body work unfortunately. Minor front end damage caused by a raccoon and a largish dent in the drivers side door, as well as the totally faded pink quarterpanel (thanks to the previous owner, who left it in the sun all day), plus some coolant streaking on the hood when the radiator seal broke. It's definitely a 10 year old car :)

Though if I had the supplies and a sealed off garage I could paint it myself, I have the extra time
