north georgia /atlanta get together

GTScott is our resident "MC" for these get togethers. Hopefully he'll chime in as I too think we are ready for another one. :hifive:

Sorry guys. I was busy being important and ruling the world.



It is definitely time for a get together. I have been trying to select a date but everyone seems to be jammed up.



If we go with a Sunday afternoon, I am pretty much open except for July 9 (I will be on vacation!). We could do a wings and stuff meet or, if it cools off, it might be nice to do a cookout. That might give me some motivation to complete staining my deck.



Here are a few dates...someone chime in with a favorite.



June 25 (Sunday)

July 1 (Saturday)

July 2 (Sunday)



Next weekend is bad since Saturday is the big Riverstone show and Sunday is Father's Day (as well as my mom's birthday).

1) Taco Mac @ 92 and Woodstock Road

2) Paraise Grille @ Shallowford and Sandy Plains



The guy who installs clear bras / paint protection for my company may be joining us. He is a Subaru and turbo Buick guy.

I ran both points from Newnan and it actually comes out that Paradise Grill is a bit closer for you. Unless someone else wants to say otherwise, lets try Paradise Grille.



It is at the corner of Shallowford and Sandy Plains. There is a Home Depot on one side and a Publix on the other. It is in the corner of the shopping center.

its easy. from the south, get off i-75 at highway 5, hang a right onto Sandy Plains and follow it for a few miles til it crosses Shallowford.



from the northeast, get on hwy 92 south until it crosses Sandy Plains at a T intersection and turn. the Shallowford intersection is a breif drive down the road.

Paradise Grill has an outdoor patio too...would be nice to hang out outside and keep an eye on everyone's perfectly detailed rides. ;)
 
Crap! I just got back from my first Atlanta area trip and although I flew up, I would've been happy to attend.

I absolutely LOVE your city!! There's lots and lots of great things to do and see and I seems like you have more than fair share of Bentleys, Aston Martins, and Maseratis on your roads! :eek: :2thumbs:



I will certainly be making many more trips.
