non pc buffer

in the market for a buffer. but since i cant afford a pc i was wondering what are some afforadable option for me?

i see some 6in buffer at sears for sale for 19.99 at 3800 rpm.

i just want to use this for apply wax.

is this a good option for that?

For applying wax it will be fine...just make sure you're using the proper bonnet. Just don't expect much out of it as far as polishing is concerned.
 
In the copy--"swirl-free shine" is not truth in advertising. *However,* something like that is great to apply products which you do not expect to cause any paint leveling. Waxes--yes. Glazes--yes. Paint cleaners--yes. Abrasive compounds and polishes--no.



Make sure to get a couple of extra bonnets (foam and terry cloth) when you pick it up. Don't bother with the wool one that will probably come with it. Use it as a doll afro wig.



Get used to the machine, then save up for a pc!

The one at Wal*Mart will do the same job as both of those for $10. All you are looking for is something that will spin and jiggle a little for wax application.
 
just to apply wax and maybe to remove wax sometime

after a 4 hours cleaning job on my car my arm is about to fall off

I know you're tired of hearing this but save your money and wait until you can afford the PC. My bet is you'll never regret this decision. :p
