Hi everyone! This is Layna, Mike’s wife, I just spoke to the surgeon and anesthesiologist that took care of Mike this morning. It took almost twice as long as expected (which the surgeon warned us it might) due to issues working with the old hardware existing in his back. He had to cut some of the old rod out because as he put it ‘there are no modern tools that will work with that ancient hardware’ - sometimes is sucks growing old, but I certainly feel it beats the alternative . Thank you for all of the wonderful messages - I am sure he’ll get back to you all in a day or so.

I am so glad to hear Mike has gone through this procedure safely and all is well !
Please know how much we all love you guys and are so Blessed for all that you do for us !

Mike`s continual input, including just perfect pictures, has been such great help for all..

Will continue to pray in much Faith for Mike`s recovery..
