No new products recently

Is it me or has there not been many new products being released for a while now. For the longest time it seemed like there was a new product every time you turned around, many of which just turned out to just be flavor of the months. I am not complaining and my wallet is happier for it but was wondering if there is a reason for this slow down, the economy maybe?

What do you see being released in the future, more uber expensive waxes, new technology similar to the WOWA sealants, or current products being improved like WG Version+1 or Z2FX. I am really hoping for the latter.

There has been talk of two Zaino products in the pipeline. A Z2p with ZFX built-in and Z-Euro, a lighter cleaning version of Z-AIO. Neither is really exciting to me. Duragloss has a WOWA sealant in non-US markets. I forget the name, but I'd be very interested to try that one out. I really wish Werkstat would come out with something new just because I really like their existing products.

Well BFWD seem to be one of the more popular sealants since it's release. The two new Zaino products do sound interesting.

I am curious to see how the new Opti-Coat is received and if others will try to come out with similar products.

I agree that the scene has been pretty stagnant lately. The only thing that I'm looking forward to is the release of the nano coatings the UK guys have had for a while. That and Autoglym supplies arriving at Walmart :)

Autoglym at walmart? Seriously? I wish walmart would have a huge detailing section lol products would probally be a lot cheaper. I don't care where I buy them from lol

It does seem like other than the 3D products, not much has come out recently.

About the 3D products. I've looked into the review done by the UK guys and the red snow foam looks like a lot of fun. That and the Bead It Up product seem promising as well...

Don't hold your breath. There's been talk of new Zaino products for several years. ZaneO posted a while back that Sal hadn't perfected the technology yet. Another factor is that it's winter and the economy is in a serious slump. Zaino did release some MF towels though.

Search for gtechniq and nanolex for good threads. I can't seem to find them on DW for some reason...

An oldish thread I know but thought I`d post a link to the new Nanolex site, dunno about the shipping of these superb german quality products but sure if you speak to Florian (he`s a real nice bloke) he`ll be only too willing to help.

That Nanolex looks like a good product if it proves to be durable and available in the US. I think the economy is playing a role in the lack of new products. I remember reading that Menzerna spent $50,000 to bring one of their products to market. That's a lot of investment if sales are slow.

hasn't zaino z2p with zfx been in development for 3 years now? Does anyone know if they are even trying to develop that product anymore? I see the positive of z2pfx being you can use it as your base coat (no need for zaio or zcs) and you can apply multiple coats in a single day.

So if this is turning out to be too difficult to develop this, how about just a major upgrade to z2p/z5p (gloss/deepness/fill/durability) while still not allowing multiple coats per day without zfx?

There is an announcement on the Optimum Forum which was supposed to be made today regarding a new Optimum "system." From the tenor of Anthony's post, this will be earth-shattering. Anyone got a heads up?

I was wondering the same thing. Been checking their site all day

Menzerna released a new product (Power Lock Polymer Sealant) end of FEB beginning of MAR of 2010. Has anyone used it yet? Worth buying?
