Hocking Hills, Ohio`s Triple Nickel, Route 555. While the Cayman is plenty of `car` it definitely needs more `driver`

Photographer w/ a camera drone was along, kinda a neat vid: https://youtu.be/MB4qBOeR2oo

Lovely parade. Lots of miles. Nice gas mileage!

It was quite the adventure, great way to spend a couple of hours. On a detailing note, when cleaning the car up Sunday, had to use a dedicated bucket w/ wheel brushes to get the wheels clean...first time for everything. Now I need to find a ?lug nut brush? to get in the lug bolt wells I guess.

Even with me being a 6` 2" kinda lanky dork, that little car is amazingly comfortable.

Holy cow! You were in some good company! What an amazing group of cars.

I love the look of the NSX. Such an underrated car.

That`d be my winning lottery ticket choice car. I`m sure the real exotic stuff is fun but I wonder if it gets to be a PITA to deal with.

NSX`s are apparently relatively solid and reliable all things considered. The "no manual" thing wouldn`t bother me a bit, will never have another stick shift car.

Great pics, looks like an awesome time with some great cars!

It was ridiculously entertaining, occasionally uh...?suspensful? and I was always playing catch-up. The Cayman is an amazing car for what it is but a bit down on power compared to some of the `big guys`. Thankfully there were occasional crossroads and stop signs where I could get back in line

I like them for the same reason, plus I find the design simply stunning. I see an Audi R8 as a similar competitor, but I like the look of the NSX better. I`ve seen them at the auto show a couple times, once in the blue from your picture and once again in red metallic. All I could do was just stand and stare...

From the reviews and numbers I`ve seen I doubt it`s giving up much to the more exotic cars. I`ve really only seen one in the wild once on the road. I got behind it after making a turn onto a country road. No sooner did I realized what it was then the driver really got on it. The thing left me behind so fast it looked like a scene from a Star Wars movie when the starships jump to light speed. Not sure if it was my benefit or theirs, but it sure was fun to watch.

For me the whole manual transmission comes down to the car itself. For something fun and tossable like an M2 or Cayman I`d try for a stick. Anything more powerful and focused will most likely have some form of auto/dual clutch anyway and I wouldn`t miss it at all. The few times I`ve driven a car with a good flappy paddle set up, I`m been quite entertained.

It looks like a great trip. What is the black car in the third pic, next to the Ferrari ? I first thought NSX, I don`t think it is. McLaren?

Very nice photos, scenery, and collection of cars. I`m on my 3rd Turbo and PDK all the way. I really don`t miss a manual transmission.

There`s a couple of Honda/Acura engineers from the nearby Marysville who are usually at the Columbus gatherings so always a few around, the red metallic is very nice...I could live with that.

Yep, that`d be I car I want, all wheel drive, hybrid drive, hopefully reliable. Maybe a practical year round driver in NE Ohio?

After the paddle shifted PDK in the Cayman, no reason for a stick for me. Fun as heck when ya want, brutally efficient when left to it`s own devices.

Twas` a McLaren, dunno which model cuz they all look the same to me. It and the red Ferrari were there for the first half then vanished.

There`s a huge collector down in Columbus (MF Autos) and they have a penchant for McLarens...lots of them at the usual gatherings/shows. The car scene down there is extraordinary w regards to exotics...they`re out in full force at every event, even when it`s raining...doesn`t seem to bother most of them much. Guessing they`re probably not going home and getting the buckets out to wash em afterwards so maybe that makes it easier

There`s a very young guy, has to be very early 20`s who runs a service/business called Driveway Details; seems to take care of a lot of the exotics...neat gig at that age.

It`s a very interesting and enjoyable area/scene if ya like cars...kinda a drag that current situation has already cut into some of the nice events that were to be coming up but whatcha gonna do? While unfortunate, pretty insiginificant in the global scheme of things. Was very nice to get out and just have some fun for a few hours...even if I had to get up at 3:30am to do it

Those guys are part of this team are they? Last year they ran an NSX in GT-D and this year they are running a Civic Type R in IMSA feeder series.

Dunno if any participate in that but would be one heck of a `extracurricular` work activity, eh?

Lindsay Acura is also one of the sponsors of Columbus Cars & Coffee so the Acura presence is at every event in some form. Never been to an event down there that didn`t have 2 or 3 NSX`s in attendance.

Didnt make it down last year but they were offering a few `special` folks a chance at a drive: https://youtu.be/xhu1luvS5Fk

Guess I ain`t an `influencer`
