I've been out of the detailing scene awhile. Bought a bunch of poorboys stuff awhile back and decided doing it by hand sucked so I bought a PC and the guy sent some stuff with it, but I can't remember what all it was. I think the strongest product i have is some SSR 2.5 and an orange pad, with a PC. I've got a '00 black Silverado that has had a hard, fun life. It's seen more than it's share of muddy gravel roads and mud pits that would make some of you guys cringe. I'm trying to get the paint back in good shape now. I tried some SSR2.5 the other night with an orange pad and got decent results. Took the worst spider webbing out and probably 75% of the scratches and what not after 2 passes. My question is, instead of having to do 3-4 passes with this is there (i know there is, just don't know what) a product that would be better for my 1st pass? I'll throw up some pics in a few days. Thanks, and sorry that was long, i'm new here so figured i'd give a background.
Just remembered I have some XMT 1,2, and 3, and some red moose glaze, poorboy's ex-p, megiuar's nxt (sp?), poorboys pro polish, and a few other randoms.
