helped buddy detail his girlfriends car 4 nights ago. used newspaper on windows to get that great streak free look. (didn't touch the rear window with defrost grid) looked great when we were done.

oh yeah, justed used water with the newspaper,

no windex or other solvent.

Last night he said there was some kinda gunk on the inside tint. (sorrow no photos) sounded like it was fuzzy too and splotted. outside of windows were o.k.

has this ever happen to anyone, and what do you do to fix it?

many thanks.

"Sounds like' (it looks like would give better clues)the newspaper ink had silicone oil which has produced a static charge thats picked up ??(kinda gunk)

To fix it use a Microfiber towel and distilled water / or Stoners Invisible Glass

probably some sort of residue was left behind. I would go over it with a Damp microfiber. I would only use a damp microfiber or paper towels on tinted windows (Eagle 20/20 is safe for tinted windows as well, I have used it MANY times with no problems at all)
