True, but I highly doubt mobile detailers are contributing a huge percentage of the crap that ends up in the local water sources. I would be more concerned about what drips from cars onto the roadways that gets washed into the storm systems when it rains. Same when an individual owner washes their car in their driveway, it is just such a tiny percentage of the problem it sure isn't worth legislating.

........unless you can line your pockets by making the little guy pay through his nose! Lets face the fact that this is about nothing but money! I'm quite sure that it is easier to list which chemicals are safe to use on your vehicle eg.(no toilet bowl cleaner to be used for wheels) It is more profitable to the carwash owners and legislators to outlaw carwashing altogether.
