News : Massive Problems with GM Gen III V8

Myles, they reported the probem (if you want to call it that) so people knew what was going on and all of the bogus internet rumors wouldn't spread any worse than they have.

I was talking about an LS1 motor, no such thing as a GM LS1 and a Holden LS1, they are the same. If you don't have 5.7 LS1 motor then you don't need to worry about what I have said.

If your motor is not burning that much (you still havent stated how much) then you should really consider before you have people tear apart your motor.

Lets face it, there are no race tracks or road courses on your way to work, it's all about the stoplight wars.

Imagine sitting at a stop light in your new $45,000 BMW and getting dusted by a 17 year old in a 3 year old Camaro. I know , I know.. the BMW is ultimately more refined and all that.... Lets face it, there are no race tracks or road courses on your way to work, it's all about the stoplight wars.

The Corvette Z06 is the best sports car for the money. It out-handles and out-accelerates a lot of cars costing twice as much. Will I buy one? Heck no. A 17 year old in a Camaro...the thought scares me.

all eningines have their problems. No large auto maker puts their engines through 200k mile test before they are allowed to put that ype of engine into a car.

Ford has engine problems.

5.4 engines suck sparkplugs like it's nobody's business. It occurs in all of them. f150, f150 lightning, superduty, and superduty v10 (which is not 5.4 by the way)

4.2L engines from 1997 and mid 1998 have head gasket and timing gasket failures. This happened on almost all of them. Mine is running 100K and still has no problem when others ran 12K and suddnely lost all the coolant.

If the auto maker was 100% sure about their engine there would not be a warranty. If they honored the warranty 100% of the time there would be no need for lawyers.
