Allow me to add my greetings as well! :welcome

Nice to have you aboard.

I traveled your beautiful country by auto in 1969 (driving a Siat) and loved every minute. The southern coast is gorgeous.

I suppose Seat not Siat
Seat it's a spanish car brand, recently aquired by VolksWagen group

It's Seat. By that time we lived in Angola and we came to Portugal on vacation as well (I was 3 yo) and my parents also rented a Seat.

Seat. OK.. One thing I remember was how very small it was. Of course this was in comparison with the cars in America at the time - boats on wheels!!! The stick shift was out of the dash not on the floor. First time I'd seen that. It was a new rental car that I got in Lisbon. By the time I handed it back in there must have been 2k miles on it. I drove through Spain and returned to cover half of Portugal. It was a great time.

European Cars compared with American cars are very very smals.
We dont have lot's of gas like America and the price of that was very high.
Here in Portugal the most popular segment cars are the smallers with 4 cylinders and 1.200cc/1.400cc with less than 100HP.
Hower roads are small too and if all the people have big cadillacs there is no space to drive on roads.
