Hello everyone,wanted to introduce myself,came across the forum a few months ago and i`m glad id. It started 12 months ago when i purchased my first Black car. i had heard of stories regarding how difficult they are to keep looking good but i really had no clue,would i do it again yes in a heartbeat. Hoping to learn a bunch more. Jim

Black looks so amazing the day you wash it..... then looks like you need to wash it. I plan on this being my first and last black car

I said I would never buy another black car. I lied. Black just looks soooo good for that two minutes when clean. Take pictures.

And yet I can`t stop with the Black. They say the first step in Recovery is admitting you have a problem...still working on that.

Maybe someday...

I always loved the mid-late-60-70`s 340 Mopars..
They made some great understated horsepower..

Hated it when much later all the perfect sized Mopars got much wider/fatter..

Saw many Challenger T/A`s when they first came out - wow !

Love all Black paint ! One year I Detailed 17 Black vehicles in a row...
Have no fear of Black..

Thanks Dan! i also kept my 72 gold/white vinyl top challenger which i finished about 12 years ago and did not like everything stock about it,so i started going thru suspension upgrades,such as Hotchkis,Bogeson poweder coating k-memember, fornt and rear sway bars and so on,has a 360/904 combo,11.1 motor,upgraded trans sprag,2800 stall converter.need to Finnish electrical and saving up for new gen a/c unit. This new to me Black 16 r/t plus has set me back a bit. I think i have it where i will like it for a while but in reality between this forum and OG Garage i`m finding good info.
