Newbie With New Car

Hello all, newbie to the forums and to detailing. Never had a car i wanted to put the time into. Just got a Silver 2006 Mercedes :woot: and I need advice since this cars needs to shine. I plan on detailing by hand(no machine) so i need products that are suitable to this. Also, I don't plan on waxing/sealing etc more than every 4 months or so and don't want to spend more than 3 hours on the exterior.



So i need advice based on my needs:



1) Best Polish/Gloss

2) Best Sealant/Wax



and for the interior



3) Best leather cleaner/conditioner/protectant that will not leave a shine

4) Best vinyl/interior cleaner/conditioner/protectant that will leave a matte finish.

If you are going to wax that infrequently you might want to consider Zaino, or in the realm of carnauba based products something like Collinite 845. There are a million polishes out there. Poorboy's and Menzerna come to mind. Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer does a nice job and leaves a matte finish like from the factory. As far as leather, again there are a million products. Do some searches...good luck.
