Ok i got my pc finaly and i was wondering what pads should i get im not going to be into heavy swirl removie light to moderate. And i want something that wont allow me to mess the paint up on any of my cars.

What pads are the best

Is there a package i should get (trying to to break the bank)

what elese should i get with it?

I went with the Lake Country pads. It is probably the most popular and best quality pad. You will most likely need the orange light cutting pad and the white polishing pad. That is what I use the most. The gray pad is good for applying waxes and sealants. There are packages that have the backing plate and pads together. That will save you some money.

Are you needing a backing plate? That kit didn't come with one. I don't ever use a bonnet. I just buff off by hand.

Ok i think im going to get:

A backing plate

LC light cutting pad for removieing spiderwebs and like swirls

And a finishing pad For sealent and wax

should i get 2 finishing pad so i can apply wax and sealent in the same day or can i use the same pad?

and should i get another pad for just light polishing when i dont need much cutting power?

I usually recommend getting at least 2 pads of each kind. It really sucks when you are doing a vehicle and the pad is dirty that you want to use.

I wouldn't use the same pad for your wax and sealant. Like I said before, it is probably best getting 2 pads.

As far as backing plates, you can go with a 5 or 6 inch backing plate for the 6.5 pads. I prefer the 6 inch.

Hope this helps!

By the way. I forgot to mention that you will need a white polishing pad. You will probably use that a lot.

Or when the pad youre using goes flying off and rolls into the dirt.

Lake Country: 1 orange, two white, two grey/black <---good start.
