Hello Folks,
Just registered and I have some newbie question(s). Bear me since I haven't ever done any machine polishing.
I've read about rotary and dual-action machines but since the terminology is little difficult to translate I have to ask...
I have this Bosch grinding/polishing machine at garage for woodwork and was wondering if it's usable for machine polishing or TOTALLY out of line?
It's oscillating with 2mm oscillating-offset, 15.000-24.000 oscilations per minute. 270W
125mm plate with velcro-type grip. I saw some polishing pads for it but dunno for what they are.
I plan to polish little swirl-marks / spider-web from my black TT with Autoglym Paint Renovator which I happen to have in garage. then continue with Super Resin Polish and Extra Gloss. (And of course _start_ with the clay). I was going to do it by hand but then read so much about machine polishing and started to wonder maybe that Bosch-machine could be usable since it's not rotary. Then again the speed seems way out of line for car paint - am I correct?
Thanks and greetings from PolarBear-land !
