Just joined and I am already overwhelmed with the products and techniques out there. I used to just go down to Wally world and purchase some meguiars and be done with it. After reading these forums I have decided to purchase a PC 7424. Next step is what pads and chemicals? There are so many out there that I don't know where to start. The biggest issues I have are with swirl marks on my wife's cars and major oxidation on my truck. I have a clay bar already and bought some mequiars car wash so that step is out. I figured wash and clay then next step? To polish or just do swirl removal? Then wax and is that it or is there something to place over the wax like a sealer or glaze?
1)Truck (dark Green) is a 2004 and has never been polished, maybe waxed once.
2)Wife has 2 black Porsches (2008,2010) mostly with some swirl marks.
3) 2010 Volvo C30 red with minor swirls.
I see on AutoGeek they have a PC 7424 with a kit and you can choose the pads. Which ones to choose and how long do they last (will it last the entire polishing and waxing)?

Any help with choosing the right pads, polishes (fine vs med vs coarse), wax, glaze?, will be greatly appreciated. Also, I purchased a meguiars clay kit already.
