Newbie From Sac Area

Hey guys!
I'm YuhDunBenShrunk, I just started last month on this whole detailing adventure.
I got sick of my car being dirty all the time and never doing anything about it.
I wanted to make my car something I could be proud of.
I invested about 100 bucks on a Meguiars car care kit and got addicted to the results.
I just ordered my first DA and ordered it from here. (Saved $70 by ordering it from here over Amazon!!)
Got a Griots 6", some Meg MF cutting pads and foam pads.
My DD is a 2000 White Subaru Outback Limited and my wife has a 2008 Green Honda CR-V.
Looking forward to a great relationship with those in this forum.
If anyone does Reddit, I am on the /r/autodetailing sub as well with the same username /u/yuhdunbenshrunk!
Thanks in advance for everyones help, reviews, and recommendations.
I'm looking forward to the rabbit hole that is Auto Detailing!

Ya, the detailing reddit is a good resource
I can't say its as good as this forum activity wise
but I know i benefit from all the different products used in the "Look at what I did" posts
their rules do not allow such posts without accompanying info like what you did and which products used
And their wiki in the sidebar is very useful and well thought out (at least for newbies like me)
the people are helpful...
idk, its what got me here
And Im already glad I made the decision to join here
