I just bought an 04 G35 Coupe 2 weeks ago. The thing immediately noticed is that there are so many swirl marks. I told the dealer about it and they were just saying stuff like "its a dark car, it will always have those swirls" and blah blah blah. I went to an auto detailing place and the guy was being honest saying that when he is done detailing my car, it will be perfect. There will not be a scratch anywhere and it will look like water. The problem is, he said that after i wash my car a few times, the swirls will begin to show again. He said he will get rid of some of the swirls permanently but others will start to show again. Why is that? I thought that a detailer would get rid of the swirl marks permanently. Is he basically just filling the swirl marks in with something? Can someone please describe the process of detailing this guy is using since the swirls will eventually come back?
Another thing i noticed also was my windows. All my windows have water mark stains on them. I tried everything trying to get the marks off. I used vinegar, different glass cleaners, rain x, etc. The windows are completely smooth but when your looking from the inside of the car looking out, you can see all the water marks. It looks like my windows are dirty. Do you guys have any suggestions regarding this?
I honestly dont know much about car detailing so i'm sorry for all the questions. Oh by the way the cars color is Twilight Blue (it's a really dark blue color)
