Hey to my fellow DetailCity fanatics..... The weather is coming around and I am getting the detail fever.

Just wanted to share a find is all. I was at Homedepot the other night with my holidy gift cards. Always nice to spend someone else's money. Bought this Rigid wet vac... (Vac n Go). Love it....... The thing mounts on the wall and has a total of 21 feet of hose, two crevice tools and more. The hose lock in so not hose coming off mid-vac. It also has blower capabilities. Plug the hose to the top hole and bamb your blowing away water from the crevices. Sweet...

Looks like a pretty good unit for that price. I wish my wall mount shop vac had a blower on it.

looks like a monster. I have one that hangs on the wall from sears, same concept, I bought it awhile back though. They work fairly well. sometimes I think it might loose alil suction because of the length of the hose. But overall I love mine as well. It looks like yours might have alil more HP then mine does.

Thank you. I kicked myself for asking when I just went right to the site and answered my own question.

looks like a great Vac, but unfortunately I live in a 2nd floor condo :(

Maybe a neighbor on the first floor would let you use an oulet on their level.
Any chance there are any outdoor outlets? Seems like there would be one somewhere. Heck, offer them a buck for every time you use the outlet. :)

This is great my Carftsmen took a dive over the weekend so its time to get another one I just want to make sure that I can use my old hose & attachemnts

Association rules don't even allow me to wash my car in front of our condo. I go to my parents house to detail my and my wifes car. I am surrounded by retire's and snow birds. I need somthing with some power that is portable.

If by "portable" you mean battery powered, good luck.
If you are looking for a portable 110v unit, the Ridgid WD4550 would do the job.

Can you tell me the width of the hose? I want to make sure that I can use my old hoses on this model...its really what I am looking for, but it would bite if I couldn't use all the attachments that I currently have

The one I have has 1-7/8" hose and accessories.
I'm not sure, but I think all the small tank, 5 hp Ridgid units use that size.
It seems like it is pretty much unique to Ridgid, (Emerson Electric).
It does seem like I have seen adaptors, but I'm not sure just how that would work.

Thanks I'm going to go to Home Depot and have a look at them.....again would bite not to be able to use all the attachments I have already....may end up buying another Craftsmen if that's the case

I'm not looking for battery powered. If I buy a VAC its gonna be one I intead on having for awhile. I like the WD4550, but they are expensive. I know I'm gonna have to drop a few bucks for a good VAC. The hard part is I just dropped $275 for a 19'' LCD. All these damn toys.

Craftsman and Rigid shop vacs are made by the same company, btw. I have lots of Rigid accessories for my Craftsman vac.

And if your stuff happens to be the wrong size, there are adapters to go to and from every size of hose out there.
